Internet Evangelism Day, April 24, 2005
[ I have advanced the date of this post to keep IED on top.]
I am gearing up for Internet Evangelism Day, April 24th, 2005. I should have my book on Concrete Christian Prayer available by then. My Twenty Seven Metaphors is already out there, as you can see.
Why internet evangelism is becoming vital.
It appears right now that there are not many people who even know about IED, even in Christian circles.
http://ied.gospelcom.net/ is the main website for IED as far as I can tell. All other web mentions of IED refer back to this site. Other bloggers have mentioned the lack of awareness of it.

Here's a forum discussion on it that shows how well its going to be received by those concerned.

Hey Lindsy,
I like your bloggy pulpit! You've got some cool stuff on it. Thanks for the heads up on IED, too. I didn't know about it myself.
PS. do you mind If I link you blog to A Tic In The Mind's Eye? Let me know.
Peace and blessing,
Joe
Sure, Joe. As per my email to you, the more, the merrier. Go right ahead! :-)
Lindsy,
Thanks for the heads up! I have never heard of that before, but would like to participate! Do you have any more info. that I should know - if not, I'll try to check the website. Thanks again! -Brandon

Thanks for coming by Brandon! I have updated my post per your request.
Actaully Linsey. Thanks for the reminder. I get sidetracked so easily. Its like adult ADD or something. Anyway I hope more people jump on the bandwagon for this.
Peace be with you!!!
My pleaure! The more the merrier. :-)
I think you will like this site
Actual I would prefer it if my guests would not leave politically polemic links. The name of Jesus Christ has become so identified with one political party right now that people from the other parties who see or hear His name immediately turn away and reject Him. All politics is not only local, it's temporal as well. Nothing temporal should be allowed to affect even one human being's decision for eternity.
John 18:35-36:
Pilate replied. “It was your people and your chief priests who handed you over to me. What is it you have done?”
Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight..."
Hey, I'm back with a slightly different blog (http://bitterchristian.blogspot.com). Appreciated your comments and hope to see you visit again. Mentioned that thing you said about baby boomers getting to midlife and becoming disillusioned to Will, my dh; that was good and gave us something to think about. Anyways, don't forget to stop by and put your little person back on my new map! :) Feel free to comment as well! See ya. And have a thoughtful Easter.
Glad to see you are back Dot. Didn't know you had gone to a new URL. I'll have to be less imaginative and alarmist next time. :-)
Hi Lindsy.
I finally (!) got my links up and running when it became clear that my "big" update was just not going to happen as I wanted it to. I need to learn some freakin' HTML...
Anyway, I added you.
Rock on.

That must have been quite the party! You have disappeared even more than me from blogworld (overlook bad grammatical structure please). And just between you and me....your map is very stark. You really need more visitors! Hopefully I will get my act together enough to start posting again and add in my old history too. As my son would say, "what a gong show!" lol.
Dear friend
You kindly linked to an Internet Evangelism Day page on your site, at
http://thebloggypulpit.blogspot.com/2005/04/internet-evangelism-day-april-24-2005.html
Internet Evangelism Day pages are no longer at http://ied.gospelcom.net and have moved to http://www.internetevangelismday.com
Please could you change your links so that they still work. Any inner site link which was previously
http://ied.gospelcom.net/somepage.php can be changed to
http://www.internetevangelismday.com/somepage.php
Grateful thanks.
Blessings,
Gweno
